Terms and Conditions of Membership:
Membership Agreement:
All applicants must agree to and accept the terms and conditions BEFORE
the application and payment will even be allowed into our system. Read this
Agreement, and retain it for your records.
Application, Processing, and Servicing Fee:
Cancellation and Refunds:
Your membership may be cancelled at any time by logging into your account and
following the appropriate directions. All fees are non-refundable, unless you
cancel your membership within five (5) days of your initial signup. If you
do cancel within five (5) days of your initial sign-up you will receive a full
refund minus a $5.95 account cancellation and refund-processing fee. You agree
to pay any accrued, unbilled charges to your account through the date of cancellation
at the time of cancellation, so long as you have not cancelled within five
days of your initial signup or any renewal. If you have any questions please

Once we have begun the verification and reporting process:
You can cancel at anytime, once we have started to service your account.
However, if you choose to cancel after we have already started providing the
verification service we are unable to refund your yearly servicing fee. Remember:
1. The longer you report the more you benefit.
2. The longer you have rented the more you benefit.
3. If you move and it has been sooner then six months from the date your credit
card was billed, RentReporters will apply the remaining six months of servicing
credit to another address. If you (member) changes the reporting account
after six months from the date your credit card was billed, you will have the
option of forming a new account for a minimal fee of $29.95. If you
do not select to create a new account and choose to cancel your membership
no refund will be issued.
4. Once a credit item appears on your report it will stay there for 7 years.
So once you report your rent, and it shows on your report, you will benefit
for up to 7 years.
5. If you pay your rent more than 30 days late, it will be reported as a
late payment on your credit report.
6. When you start reporting a rental account, you will receive credit on your
report from the date you started renting there, going forward.
7. Reporting your rent does not guarantee you a higher credit score, because
many factors affect your score, although reporting your rent does increase
the amount of accurate information about you on your credit report.
8. It takes an average of 10-30 days to verify your information and another
30-90 days for the bureau to add it to your credit report. So it could take
anywhere from 10-160 days for your rental account to show on your credit report.
9. Your account might show up on one or many of the major bureau reports.
10. We will contact you if we have any problem verifying your account.
Refund Processing:
Once the initial RentReporters account mailer has been mailed on our customers'
behalf, we cannot issue any refunds. Refunds are made by check and mailed to
the address on your application. In either case, please allow up to sixty (60)
days for any qualifying refund to be received.
Monthly Fees:
You will not be charged any monthly fees.
Fraud Resolution:
We cooperate completely with all law enforcement agencies in the pursuit of
fraud, with regard to the purchase and use of our products. If you believe
your account was fraudulently charged for the purchase price of our product,
we will make every effort to aid in a resolution. Before we can take any action,
please fax or mail a copy of the official report filed with your local Police
or law enforcement agency detailing the suspected fraudulent act and also a
copy of the portion of your account statement showing the date and amount of
the withdrawal. Please allow us 2 weeks for resolution after we receive the

Payment Agreement:
I agree to pay $89.95 to initiate and establish a Rental Payment Reporting
Services Membership.
I understand that RentReporters will report my monthly rental payments to the
credit bureaus, assuming the payments can be verified. If a problem occurs
verifying my account. I understand RentReporters will contact me at the email
I provided.
I understand that the bureau will receive my accurate rental account data.
I authorize RentReporters to charge $89.95 upon joining to my credit card or
to debit my bank account to cover the yearly cost of ongoing verification and
reporting of my account to the bureaus. I agree that $89.95 includes my new
account, and initial verification, and 11 months of continuing verification.
At the end of the 12 months, I will be able to renew my membership another
year for a set fee.
I authorize RentReporters to report my monthly rent payments to the credit
bureau. (Please note that your bank and credit card statements will show the
transaction as a debit from RentReporters.)
I agree to allow RentReporters to send emails for any payment or account issue.
I agree to allow RentReporters to communicate with my landlord and allow my
landlord to provide RentReporters with my accurate rental information needed
to service my account.
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF USE AND MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT
Important: Please read thoroughly before submitting your membership request.
RentReporters, LLC. Hereafter referred to as RR, specializes in the servicing
of rental accounts and the providing of rental data and other transaction information
to one, some, or all of the major credit bureaus on behalf of renters/residents/tenants/landlords/property
management companies and others. Cross promotion with various financial institutions
and e-partners may provide some members with access to credit cards, auto loans,
auto leases, mortgages, student loans and other comprehensive loan programs.
However, RR cannot and does not promise that you will obtain any new credit,
such as a credit card, auto loan, auto lease, mortgage, student loan or other
loan program as a result of RR services. While we feel that you are more likely
to obtain such credit if we are successful in increasing your credit profile
through our efforts to report your accurate and on-time payments, the ultimate
credit decision remains with the lender or credit grantor, and we cannot control
that process in any way.
Your credit profile will improve because the information on you will be more
complete and accurate. However, profile improvement does not guarantee a higher
credit score, since this is dependant on numerous variables that are outside
of the control of RR.
RentReporters encourages you to be responsible with your credit in order to
maintain and increase your credit profile and credit worthiness. Responsible
steps include:
1. Paying any and all bills on time
2. Not applying for more credit than you need, and not exceeding a healthy
debt/income ratio.
3. Reporting your rent
4. Avoiding collections, bankruptcy, and debt consolidation if possible.
5. Not co-signing on loans, or lines of credit for others if it might put you
at risk.
RentReporters Current Program
Basic Membership uses RR advanced technology. Basic members pay a one-time
credit verification, screenings, upload, tracking, reporting fee which includes
RR servicing, submitting and providing your rental performance to the bureaus.
Should you switch apartments or decide to cancel the membership after RR has
started reporting on your behalf you are no longer eligible for a refund. Should
you switch landlords or units, you may redirect your account for a $29.95 fee
for the remainder of the current year you have paid for.
Estimate of total charges for members = $89.95 for a year of service.
A Basic Plan member will be charged a one-time application, account creation,
verification, processing and servicing fee. Should the member upgrade the service,
change plans, change apartments, opt for previous landlord report reporting
or other, they will be informed of additional charges before deciding and then
will be charged accordingly. However, you can always cancel your membership,
but all fees earned prior to such cancellation will be due and payable to RR
according to this agreement.
RentReporters Member's Access To Partners
Members will also have the ability to participate with partners programs on
a voluntary basis. Such involvement or participation is completely voluntary
for a member and they will be notified and charged according to their agreement
with the Partner.
Your Credit Report:
By joining RR you authorize RR to verify your rent with the proper authorities
and understand that after RR is able to verify your information, your rental
data will be provided to the credit bureaus to be added to your Credit Report
within 10-160 days that shows your rental payment.
Member agrees to provide RR necessary personal information as required by RR,
credit-reporting agencies, the Credit Bureaus, and in requesting verification
of positive or derogatory credit information from landlord of the member. PLEASE
UNDERSTAND THAT NO ONE, INCLUDING RENTREPORTERS, CAN ADD Unverified, false,
or misleading information to your CONSUMER CREDIT PROFILE. INFORMATION CAN
BE REMOVED FROM A PERSON'S CREDIT PROFILE ONLY IF THE CREDIT HISTORY IS INACCURATE
OR OBSOLETE AND IS NOT CLAIMED TO BE ACCURATE BY THE CREDITOR WHO SUBMITTED
THE INFORMATION TO THE CREDIT BUREAU. RENTREPORTERS WILL SEEK TO HAVE ANY INACCURATE
INFORMATION CORRECTED AND, IF APPROPRIATE, REMOVED BY THE CREDIT BUREAUS IF
AND TO THE EXTENT REQUIRED UNDER APPLICABLE FEDERAL AND STATE LAWS, INCLUDING
THE FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT.
Permission / Authorization
RentReporters will verify and certify the rental information provided by the
member. If RR has a problem verifying your information you will be contacted.
You may be contacted to verify your participation and that indeed you have
given permission to RR to verify your rent. You agree that promptly upon receipt
of any correspondence related to the RR service, you will provide permission
for RR to access and report such information on your behalf, you will also
forward a copy of such correspondence to RR.
Should you deny permission for RR to service you, or fail to provide the required
information and communication for RR to service you, you will have forfeited
the right to be serviced and will not receive any refund.
Your RR membership is active as long as your account is in good standing with
RR. You can always cancel your membership at any time by logging into your
account and following the appropriate directions.
Member empowers RR, its employees, agents, subcontractors and assignees to
perform or engage in any act on behalf of member related to including, without
limitation, the right to verify the members rent and information.
The specific acts necessary to accomplish the purpose of this agreement shall
be at the sole discretion of RR professional judgment. The specific acts shall
require periodic verification of member's rent.
You agree that when you receive any RR email advising you that your account
needs viewing, updating or additional information, you will review your account
and provide any additional data or assistance necessary.
Further, you shall indemnify RR for any costs, losses, damages or liability
for any violation by you of this agreement, including without limitation if
you instruct us to verify or add information, which you know to be inaccurate,
false or outdated.
DISCLOSURES PERTAINING TO ALL MEMBERSHIP PLANS
Billing
Your membership fee and any elective fees or charges will be charged to the
credit card or bank card or account that you specified. Payment for the RR
services provided to you is made by automatic credit card or debit card debit,
or by "e-checks" and you hereby authorize RR authorized payment processing
agent to transact such payments on your behalf.
In the event RR discovers that services were provided but not billed, RR shall
have the right to charge such fees at any time after such discovery. RR will
attempt to notify you about any pending unbilled charge before processing the
charge. This will be by provided by email or telephone contact if
available. If any form of payment you supply is not able to be collected for
any reason, RentReporters may elect to cancel the membership application and
close the account to further service. From time to time, RentReporters may
extend special offers that may waive certain fees.
CHARGE BACKS.
You agree not to report as unauthorized any charge by RentReporters, for any
services for which you do not have good reason to believe were, in fact, not
authorized by you or someone acting on your behalf or with your permission.
If you do believe that a charge was not authorized by you or someone acting
on your behalf or with your permission, prior to your initiating any charge
back request, at least five business days before initiating such charge back,
you will send us written notification containing your name, your RentReporters
user ID and a specific statement that you intend to initiate a charge back,
and the reason you intend to initiate the charge back.
We take our members and our service very seriously and we hope that if you
are ever dissatisfied you will give us the chance to attempt to rectify the

Hold Harmless
Any dispute arising hereunder or related to services provided by RentReporters,
shall be governed by California law and resolved by binding arbitration under
the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. To
the extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby waive any right to, and
agree not to, join in any class action against RentReporters, its officers,
representatives, vendors, or owners. To the extent permitted by applicable
law, any liability of RentReporters, hereunder shall be limited to the
actual membership fees and charges paid by the member. If any part of this
agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable
law, the remainder of this agreement shall continue in effect. THE PARTIES
HEREBY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO TRIAL BY JURY IN ANY PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF OR
RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR THE SERVICES PROVIDED HEREUNDER, WHETHER SOUNDING
IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE. THE PARTIES AGREE THAT ANY OF THEM MAY FILE
A COPY OF THIS PARAGRAPH WITH ANY COURT AS WRITTEN EVIDENCE OF THE KNOWING,
VOLUNTARY AND BARGAINED-FOR AGREEMENT AMONG THE PARTIES IRREVOCABLY TO WAIVE
TRIAL BY JURY AND THAT ANY PROCEEDING WHATSOEVER BETWEEN THEM RELATING TO THIS
AGREEMENT OR ANY OF THE CONTEMPLATED SERVICES DESCRIBED HEREIN OR ON OUR WEBSITE
SHALL INSTEAD BE RESOLVED BY BINDING ARBITRATION. BY AGREEING TO THESE TERMS
AND CLICKING THE "I AGREE" BUTTON ABOVE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS AGREEMENT
TO ARBITRATE RESULTS IN WAIVER OF YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL FOR ANY DISPUTE
OR ANY OTHER CLAIM.
You hereby agree to indemnify, defend and hold RR and all its officers, directors,
owners, agents, employees, information providers, affiliates, licensors and
licensees (collectively, the "Indemnified Parties") harmless from
and against any and all liability and costs incurred by the Indemnified Parties
in connection with any claim arising out of any breach by you of these Terms
of Use or the foregoing representations, warranties and covenants. You shall
cooperate as fully as reasonably required in the defense of any claim. RR reserves
the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control
of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you and you shall not
in any event settle any matter without the written consent of RR.
This agreement shall be subject to and construed in accordance with the laws
of the state of California, excluding its conflict of law principals. If you
need to serve us with process, the name and address of our agent for service
of process is: Process Agent, RR PO BOX 2637, Pasadena, CA 91102. Any dispute
arising hereunder or related to services provided by RentReporters shall be
governed by the laws of the State of California, and you and RR agree to submit
to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the
county of Los Angeles, California. The failure of RR to exercise or enforce
any right or provision of law does not constitute a waiver of such right or
provision. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby waive any
right to, and agree not to, join in any class action against RentReporters
LLC., its officers, representatives, vendors, or owners. If any part of this
agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable
law, the remainder of this agreement shall continue in effect. Notwithstanding
any other provision in this or any other agreement between the parties, the
provisions of this agreement shall prevail in the event of any conflict, and
all non-conflicting terms and conditions contained in any other such agreement
are incorporated herein by this reference.
RR AND ITS AFFILIATES MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE SUITABILITY OF THE
INFORMATION CONTAINED IN RR WEBSITES FOR ANY PURPOSE. ALL SUCH INFORMATION
IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT A WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. RR AND ITS AFFILIATES
HEREBY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS WITH REGARD TO THIS INFORMATION,
INCLUDING ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, WHETHER EXPRESS,
IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL RENTREPORTERS OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL,
INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (OR, WITH RESPECT TO USE OF INFORMATION CONTAINED
ON RR OR ITS AFFILIATE'S WEBSITES, ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER), INCLUDING THOSE
RESULTING FROM DELAY, INACCURATE INFORMATION OR DATA, LOSS OF USE, DATA OR
PROFITS, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHER TORTUOUS ACTION,
ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF INFORMATION
CONTAINED IN RR OR ITS AFFILIATES WEBSITES, OR FROM RR PROVIDING THE SERVICES
HEREUNDER.
You, the buyer, may cancel this contract at any time prior to midnight of the
fifth day after the date of the transaction. See the attached notice of cancellation
form for an explanation of this right.
Final Digital Signature: The Federal E-Sign Act (HR-1714):
The E-Sign Act grants electronic signatures and documents equivalent legal
status as traditional handwritten signatures. By completing our online Membership
Agreement, you are certifying that your digital signature is the equivalent
of your handwritten signature. Furthermore, you agree that you have read all
of the agreement and are agreeing to and signing each section of this Membership
Agreement with your digital signature. You further agree that you understand
the agreement and have read "Your Rights as a Consumer". Your "Internet
Protocol" address
will be used, tracked, and kept, as the physical representation of your desire
to be serviced by RentReporters and your agreement to these terms and our privacy
policy.
The term of this agreement is for one year from the date of sign-up, and shall
terminate in 12 months. You will be notified and given the opportunity to continue
RR service for another year at additional cost. RR is not liable for any changes
in your credit profile, which have an adverse affect on your credit rating.
RR is not liable for the actions of any companies in partnership with, or which
provide services at the request of, RR.
