RentCheck

RentCheck is our free service that allows us to automatically verify your rent transactions for tenants who pay their rent electronically. This limits contact with your landlord and expediting your rental verification.

It’s simple, during the signup process you just link the bank account you pay your rent from to your RentReporters account. Once you link our team can begin your rental verification.

Any rent payments that are paid on an online portal, bank transfers to a third party payment service like Venmo and the Cash app, or debit card transactions.

RentCheck is also able to verify rent payments that are done by paper check and in some cases, even cash payments. Call our team to see if you qualify.

Enroll during sign up, a pop up will appear which allows you to enroll in RentCheck. After you complete your RentCheck enrollment, you can complete the rest of your RentReporters sign up.

If you miss this step, you can also enroll from your dashboard. A blue bar will appear which invites you to complete enrollment.

If you have not enrolled in RentCheck within 24 hours you will be charged the remaining balance of our standard sign up fee of $94.95.

A new tradeline called “RentReporters/Residence” will appear on your credit report within 5 business days after rental verification and landlord validation. Most customers see an average initial change of 35-50 points in their credit score within 15 days.

For thousands of RentReporters’ customers, the average increase they see in as little as 15 days is 35-50 points. We don’t run the credit scoring models owned and used by the credit bureaus, so we are unable to predict the change in your score. We do think you’ll be inspired by the stories of our customers and the dramatic changes they have experienced.

Based on the positive results we have seen from thousands of customers, we’re confident that you’ll see a significant increase in your score. If you are not happy with the change you see within 48 hours after the addition of the “RentReporters/Residence” tradeline to your credit report, we’ll issue you a full refund.

It’s important for you to know that when this refund is processed, we’ll simultaneously be REMOVING your rental history from your credit report, which will also adjust your credit score back to where it would have been had the rent not been reported.
