Tell us who you are so we can match you to your credit file.
Who is your landlord and how we can reach them.
How much is your rent and when does your lease end.
There are 4 simple steps to reporting your rent to the credit bureaus.
1. Verification of your identity and rent payments: We need basic information such as your social security number, date of birth, address, and your landlord’s contact information.
2. Verification of your rent payments with your landlord: We work directly with your landlord to verify their identity and confirm your on-time rent payments both over the last 24 months, and in the months to come. For a fee of $50 each, we can verify and report rent payments made to additional landlords you have leased from within the past 2 years.
3. Reporting to credit bureaus: We report your rent history to TransUnion and Equifax.
4. Rental tradeline added to your credit report: Your new tradeline will be added to your credit report within 5-7 days. As you continue to pay your rent each month, additional positive history is added to this tradeline monthly. This is why it is important to keep your subscription paid and current every month.
Your landlord is vital to reporting your rent history. We rely on the landlord to verify your payment history and lease details.
A new tradeline called “RentReporters/Residence” will appear on your credit report within 5 days after rental verification and landlord validation. Most customers see an average initial change of 40 points.
