RentCheck is our free service that allows us to automatically verify rent transactions for those who pay their rent electronically or by check. Signup is simple and take seconds. During the signup process you simply will link your bank account to your RentReporters account and once you linked, we do the rest.
Any rent payments that are paid through an online portal, bank transfers to a third party payment service like Venmo/Cash app, or debit card transactions.
RentCheck is also able to verify rent payments that are made by paper check and in some cases, even cash payments. Call our team to see if you qualify.
During signup, you will receive a prompt to enroll in RentCheck before checkout.
If you miss this step, you can also enroll from your RentReporters dashboard.
If you have not enrolled in RentCheck within 24 hours you will be charged the remaining balance of our standard sign up fee of $94.95.
Once rental verification is complete a new trade-line called “RentReporters/Residence” will be added to your credit report within 7 business days. Once added, your updated score will be immediately accessible on your RentReporters dashboard.
For thousands of RentReporters’ customers, the average increase they see in as little as 15 days is 35-50 points. We don’t run the credit scoring models owned and used by the credit bureaus, so we are unable to predict the change in your score. We do think you’ll be inspired by the stories of our customers and the dramatic changes they have experienced.
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you wish to cancel your service and receive a refund please notify us within 2 calendar days of your score being updated by emailing [email protected] and you will receive a complete refund. PLEASE NOTE that when this refund is processed, we will simultaneously REMOVE your rental history from your credit report, which will also adjust your credit score back to where it would have been had the rent not been reported.
