    Faces of RentReporters: David Sawyer

    David Sawyer, Contractor

    Why I Joined RentReporters:

My wife Teresa had surgery, which then led to more health issues and many medical bills. It almost destroyed us financially, as we had to sell everything to pay our bills and make ends meet. We even came close to losing our house. We had a lease with an option to buy, and around the time when Teresa started to become ill, we had just put a lot of our money into it for renovations.

All this made it difficult for us to get any credit, so everything we bought was either with cash or through our debit card. And if you don’t have credit, you can’t do what many people take for granted, even the simple stuff like renting a car. Not having credit makes it hard to function.

I heard about RentReporters and decided to sign up. The results were great – in about a month, I went from being credit invisible to having a score of 677, and now, my score is up to 760!

    After Joining RentReporters:

We’re now rebuilding our lives, and having a new and improved credit score makes life easier. For instance, we have been approved for credit cards, so we can now buy what we need without having to rely on cash purchases. Something as simple as that is life-changing.

    My Experience with RentReporters:

The RentReporters team was informative and gave us regular updates. I recommend RentReporters to anyone who is renting and trying to build their credit. They worked for us, and I have even recommended them to my son and daughter.
